Metro Atlanta based organizations providing curbside pickup for hygiene kits
Atlanta, GA, May 13, 2020 — In coordination with the Atlanta Korean-American COVID-19 Task Force, Asian Americans Advancing Justice-Atlanta has brought together community members to help those whose hardships in the outbreak are compounded by additional challenges in seeking assistance due to limited English proficiency and immigration status, among other cultural barriers.
Organizations and volunteers are teaming up to provide 300 hygiene kits, in-language information, and food to provide assistance to those hardest hit by the crisis. Kits will include essential items such as toilet paper, paper towels, hand sanitizers, hand soap, masks, disinfectant, as well as other items in high demand and information about the changing election and census dates.
