Advancing Justice-Atlanta to host Virtual Asian American Advocacy Day with communities, organizations, and legislators

Atlanta, GA — On Thursday, February 25th from 8:45 am to 1:00 pm, Asian Americans Advancing Justice – Atlanta (Advancing Justice – Atlanta) will host its Tenth Annual Asian American Advocacy Day - #AAPIRising: The New South virtually. Asian American Advocacy Day will highlight the legislative advocacy of the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community and meet with elected officials for relationship building and learning opportunities.
Due to COVID-19, Advancing Justice-Atlanta is hosting the event virtually to celebrate our wins and collaboratively plan our efforts. For this year’s event, we have six legislators and two county commissioners as honorees, as well as two panels with partner organizations and leaders.
Several distinguished representatives, senators, and county commissioners are scheduled to attend (honorees listed in alphabetical order):

The event will include two panels to discuss the advocacy, outreach, and engagement that flipped Georgia and investing in transformative change in Georgia.
