Pakham “Joy” Changvisommid is the Development Associate at Advancing Justice- Atlanta.

Driven by a passion for social inclusion, Joy leverages her skills in grant writing, donor engagement, and strategic partnerships to support the organization’s mission of protecting and empowering immigrant communities.

Originally from Laos, Joy earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science in Culture, Media, and Society from Japan and a Master of Public Administration from the U.S.

Fluent in Lao, English, and Japanese, she is committed to fostering cross-sector collaborations that drive meaningful social change.

Outside of work, Joy enjoys reading, hiking, practicing yoga, and exploring new cuisines.
