We honor the victims, survivors, and families affected by the tragedy in Atlanta on March 16, 2021, holding space for their grief and remembrance. In this moment of deep loss, we also uplift the resilience, strength, and unity of our communities.
At Advancing Justice-Atlanta, we remain committed to dismantling the systems of hate, misogyny, white supremacy, and violence that continue to harm Asians, migrants, women, and marginalized communities. From Atlanta and beyond, we are building a future where safety, dignity, and justice are not just ideals but realities for all. Our fight continues—until we all thrive.

In remembrance and solidarity, we share a powerful illustration by Natalie Bui, carrying the words: “I water you. You water me. We grow together.” The artwork features roots emerging from the figures' backs, symbolizing how grief leaves its mark and transforms us. This illustration reflects, when we sit with grief and express it, we not only honor our pain but also embrace the beauty and bravery in how we care for one another. The illustration also highlights various acts of care within our community—small and large gestures that foster healing. This care is essential in shaping our collective healing and social movements. May we continue to nurture each other in grief, in healing, and in justice.
