Carlos Pacheco

Community Organizer

Carlos Pacheco is a community organizer with Asian Americans Advancing Justice-Atlanta dedicated to fostering positive change within immigrant communities. As a first-generation child of immigrants, he brings a unique perspective, empathy, and a drive for social justice to their work. Through their efforts, they strive to empower individuals, amplify voices, and create inclusive spaces where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Born and raised in Gwinnett County, he grew up in a household rich in cultural heritage and surrounded by the aspirations and challenges of immigrant life. Inspired by their mothers resilience and determination, Carlos developed a deep appreciation for the strength and diversity within immigrant communities.

When not working he likes spending his time with his three dogs, being outdoors and going to concerts.
