Georgia is home to a growing number of immigrants. Through its Legal Services Program, Asian Americans Advancing Justice – Atlanta provides affordable immigration services to immigrants and refugees in the state. The Legal Services Program collaborates with various community-based organizations to hold free citizenship workshops within the metro Atlanta area.

Direct Legal Services

Our direct legal services program offers affordable immigration services to immigrants and refugees. We represent clients with the following types of immigration cases:
• Family Petitions
• Adjustment of Status
• Renewal of Lawful Permanent Resident Card (Green Card)
• Naturalization and Citizenship
• Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA)
• Temporary Protected Status

Direct legal services are by appointment only. Please call (404) 890-5655 Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to schedule a consultation. Our staff can assist individuals in the following languages: English, 한국어 (Korean), 中文 (Mandarin), tiếng Việt (Vietnamese) and اُردُو (Urdu).

Fees for our legal services are assessed on a sliding scale based on household income. We screen all clients to determine eligibility for fee waivers from USCIS.

Citizenship Clinics

Along with community-based organizations and our partners in Atlanta’s New Americans Campaign, we offer free citizenship clinics in locations around metro Atlanta. At these clinics, eligible green card holders receive free assistance with their applications for U.S citizenship. We have available Know Your Rights resources for you to better understand your rights related to immigration, travel, law enforcement, and voting.

We also offer free Know Your Rights workshops in the areas of citizenship and immigration in English, Korean, Mandarin, Urdu, Vietnamese and Hindi. To schedule a workshop in your community, please call (404) 890 – 5655.
