Norcross, Georgia, February 4, 2019 — On Thursday, February 7th, from 6:30 to 8:30pm, impacted community members, community and advocacy organizations will host a Town Hall on the upcoming Gwinnett Marta Referendum and its potential impact on working families, small businesses, immigrants, and everyday members of Gwinnett county’s diverse communities.

Among other community leaders and officials, the town hall will be joined by four panelists: Charlotte Nash, Chairman of the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners; Alan Chapman, Director of the Gwinnett County Department of Transportation; Jeff Parker, MARTA General Manager & CEO; and Scott Haggard, Director of Government & External Affairs for the Atlanta Transit Link (ATL) Authority, State Road & Tollway Authority (SRTA), and Georgia Regional Transportation Authority (GRTA).

Panelists will spend the first session breaking down the plan before engaging in Q&A with an audience expected to represent more than 10+ local ethnic communities.
